Our research aims to redefine cancer biology through AI-driven tumor state science. By integrating artificial intelligence with systems biomedicine, we seek to understand tumors as evolving complex systems rather than static molecular entities. We develop interpretable AI frameworks to construct tumor state representations, establish cross-scale and cross-modal biological translations, and predict how tumor states evolve in response to genetic and therapeutic perturbations. Our ultimate vision is to build a Tumor AI Virtual Cell (AIVC)—an intelligent model capable of understanding, simulating, and manipulating tumor states to accelerate precision oncology.
